Authenticity & charm in the countryside

Enthusiasts of history and old stones,

Welcome

La Grande Ferme is located in the Bessin region, near the towns of Arromanches-les-Bains, Bayeux and Caen and the D-Day landing beaches.

La Grande Ferme was built at the beginning of the 17th century by Adrien de Novince, Baron of Crépon. It is a beautiful architectural ensemble around a square courtyard which includes a main house and outbuildings used as farm buildings and surrounded by a two-hectare park with its stream.

Since 2012, La Grande Ferme has welcomed tourists who immerse themselves in history by staying in a place of character restored with respect.

La Grande Ferme : A historical gem in the heart of the Norman Bessin

Nestled in the charming village of Crépon, La Grande Ferme invites you on a journey through time. Built at the beginning of the 17th century by Adrien de Novince, Baron of Crépon, this manor farm is a living testament to the traditional architecture of the Bessin region.

Our domain revolves around a typical square courtyard, bordered by a majestic main house and outbuildings steeped in history. High outdoor walls, formerly with a defensive vocation, immediately plunged you into the atmosphere of yesteryear.

Our two hectare park, crossed by a peaceful stream, offers you a green setting conducive to relaxation and contemplation. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries after a day rich in discoveries.

Since 2012, we are pleased to welcome travelers from around the world, eager to live an authentic experience in the heart of Norman history. Each room, furnished with old furniture, guarantees you a stay full of charm and comfort.

Located just 3 km from the sea, 7 km from Arromanches-les-Bains, 12 km from Bayeux and 25 km from Caen, La Grande Ferme is the ideal starting point for exploring the treasures of the Bessin and the D-Day beaches.
